Sentinal sued by CFTC


Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has sued Sentinel Management Group, and its president and chief executive officer, Eric Bloom, and former senior vice president, Charles Mosley.

CFTC charged the pair with fraud and segregation violations involving their handling of $562m in commodity customer segregated funds. CFTC is seeking orders of permanent injunction against the defendants, repayment to defrauded customers, monetary penalties and other relief, the committee said.
