Liffe US expects regulatory clearance in Q3

NYSE Euronext expects to receive regulatory approval for its new US futures exchange from Commodity Futures Trading Commission by the third quarter. The transatlantic exchange also expects to have secured a clearer for the new set-up by the end of the year. NYSE Euronext is in talks with LCH Clearnet. A spokesman for the clearer confirmed that the exchange had approached it but refused to elaborate on any further details.
