Kerviel investigation slams SocGen management

Société Générale (SocGen) rogue trader, Jerome Kerviel’s management and supervisors have been dubbed as “deficient”, “weak” and “insufficient” in a report by the bank’s general inspection department. The investigation also uncovered that Kerviel worked with an accomplice in his fraudulent trading which cost the bank global losses of €4.9bn.
