CFTC moves on ag markets

Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will look to introduce new policies that will require industry index traders and swap dealers to disclose more information to the agency about trading on agricultural markets.

The proposal requires index traders and swaps dealers to reveal more details about their trading, and will review the classifications of this category of trader. No timetable has been set for a release of the new initiatives.
