Liffe’s sterling overnight indexed average (SONIA) contract remains on the sidelines as the exchange works on details surrounding its exact specifications and its timing. Liffe’s Euro overnight indexed average (EONIA) meanwhile experienced a sound launch on June 16.
The exchange decided to launch both products back in May but has so far only listed the EONIA. The contract traded 522 contracts in its first three days.
