CME share fall hinders Nymex acquisition

CME Group shares sunk to their lowest level in two years on Tuesday after the exchange reported that interest rate volumes plunged in June, pushing overall the average daily volume down 4%.
The fall in the value of its shares complicates the groups already troubled bid for Nymex where part of the payment is tied to the CME Group share price.
