CBOE members approve deal to end fight with CME


The Chicago Board Options Exchange’s members have voted to accept the latest deal to resolve its exercise rights dispute with the CME Group.

The deal is expected to be the precursor to the options exchange demutualising before undertaking an initial public offering.

CBOE members voted the deal through by 779 to 70 votes.
