Russell Indexes settle into their new home at ICE


Derivatives on the Russell Indexes of US stocks completed their transition from CME Group to Intercontinental Exchange on Friday September 19.

In June 2007 ICE struck an exclusive licensing deal with Russell Indexes and is now the only exchange that offers Russell 1000, Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 futures and options. It has moved all the open interest on the contracts over to ICE.
