The Clearing Corp has confirmed that it still intends to launch a central clearing house for over-the-counter credit default swaps by the end of 2008.
The independent clearing house committed at the beginning of this year to building a CDS clearing facility, with a view to inaugurating it in the third quarter of 2008.
