European Climate Exchange has attracted “some serious interest” in carbon trading as market players have been thinking about moving from depressed equity markets to unexplored territories.
A spokesperson for ECX in London told Futures and Options Intelligence that the exchange has received a few calls from players interested to see if they could “do any plays on carbon”.
