BOX breaks records in September but predicts volumes will fall


The Boston Options Exchange has joined other derivatives exchanges in announcing that it broke volume records in September 2008.

September 18 was the busiest day in BOX’s history with 1.7m contacts traded, a 17% rise on the previous record of 1.45m contracts on July 15, 2008.
