DGCX breaks 1m contracts, 50% ahead of last year


Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange has announced a record-breaking trading volume for the third quarter. For the first time since DGCX started trading in November 2005, volume in a single year has surpassed 1m contracts, even though 2008 is only nine months old.

In the whole of last year 925,000 contracts were traded on DGCX.
