September 2008 was a mixed bag for Forts, the derivatives section of Moscow’s Russian Trading System stock exchange.
Volumes of futures contracts rose by 1% month-on-month, with 18.8m futures traded, higher than the 18.7m in August. Futures volumes have been trending up on Forts for some time.
