Follow the exchange example, says CME Group executive chairman

CME Group executive chairman, Terry Duffy appeared before the US Senate today to acclaim the benefits of central counterparty clearing.

Duffy’s comments come as the US Fed studies clearing the much maligned CDS market, in which CME Group has already announced its intention to launch a CDS trading platform.
