HKEx’s relaunch of gold makes solid start


Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing relaunched trading in gold futures today (Monday October 20), with a total of 480 commodity contracts traded.

HKEx chief executive Paul Chow said the exchange was “pleased” with the trading levels, adding that exchange-listed gold was a source of interest for many now.
