Boston Options Exchange has appointed Wayne Pestone as its new chief legal officer. He will be based in Washington, where the exchange is to open a new office.
Box said the appointment was part of its plan to obtain Self Regulatory Organization status as a national securities exchange under the authority of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
