Nasdaq OMX launches commodities segment after Nord Pool deal


Nasdaq OMX has launched a new energy and carbon trading division after finalising the acquisition of Nord Pool’s international derivatives subsidiaries and clearing facilities.

The new commodity segment will offer contracts on Dutch and German power and carbon emissions.
