Bursa Malaysia seeks to stem flight of international capital


Bursa Malaysia has restated its commitment to attracting and retaining international users, as Asian bourses suffer from a repatriation of international capital in the global shift to reduce risk.

Offshore participation in the exchange’s KLCI equity index futures was 35% in September this year, down from 44% in the same month last year and 54% in September 2006.
