Nikkei rebounds after naked shorting ban


Japanese equity markets rebounded on Tuesday October 28 and Wednesday 29, after Japan’s Financial Supervisory Agency brought forward a temporary ban on naked short selling.

The FSA had previously said the ban would start on November 4, but changed its mind to introduce it on Monday October 27.
