CME Group’s net income for the third quarter fell by 16%, compared with the same quarter a year ago, as the exchange suffered a variety of exceptional charges.
The company reported late on Wednesday October 29 that net income totalled $168.7m, down from $201.6m a year earlier. Earnings a share dropped 27% from $3.87 to $2.81.
