Trading down 10% at Liffe during Q3 as profits slide 33%


European derivatives exchange, Liffe has said that the number of futures and options contracts traded at London-based exchange fell 10% during the quarter to total 3.8m contracts. Derivatives trading revenue fell nearly 6% to $229m in the third quarter from $243m in the same quarter last year, as the bourse revealed third quarter profits fell 33%.
