Shift to electronic, lower principal trading squeeze MF Global’s revenue


MF Global, the futures and options broker, made net revenue of $372.9m in the July-September quarter, 14.4% less than in the same period last year.

Net revenues for the six months ending on September 30 2008 were $747.5m, down 8% from the 2007 period. The company’s financial year runs from March to April.

Errors and bad debts were 3.2% of net revenues...
