Taifex merger with Taiwan stock exchanges now ready to roll


The long-mooted merger of the Taiwan Futures Exchange with Taiwan’s two stock exchanges and its independent clearing house has moved a step closer. Legislative proposals to allow the merger to go ahead were finalised in late October.
