Oil price falls after Opec fails to cut supply


The oil price has fallen after the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries announced that no further supply cut would be made following a consultative session on Saturday.

Intercontinental Exchange’s Brent oil with a January 2009 expiry fell to $51.20 on December 1, more than $2 lower than the close of $53.49 on November 28.
