The European Climate Exchange has said trading throughout November represented the bourse’s third largest month as trading totalled 322m tonnes of carbon. Year-to-date volumes surpassed 2.6bn tonnes, an increase of 173% year-on-year.
The exchange said volumes have continued its strong growth as trading rose 228% from November 2007.
