Liffe’s Bclear expands into commodities


Liffe will expand Bclear, its clearing service for over-the-counter derivatives, to include commodities in the first quarter of 2009. Bclear was launched in 2005 to clear equity derivatives and after rapid growth is preparing to host clearing of credit default swaps.
