Bernstein slashes share price targets for CME and ICE


Sanford C Bernstein, the New York wealth management firm, has lowered its share price targets for the CME Group and InterContinental Exchange, predicting a steep decline in futures trading volumes.

In a research note last week, the team led by senior analyst Brad Hintz forecast trading volume to shrink in 2009 by 9% at CME Group and 4% at ICE.
