One down, two to go: ICE wins first approval for CCorp takeover


Intercontinental Exchange’s acquisition of the Clearing Corporation, the US clearing house, has been approved by the Federal Trade Commission, which polices fair competition in US business.

However, the deal requires separate consent from the Securities and Exchange Commission and Federal Reserve before it can be completed.
