Ghana to launch commodities exchange


Ghana’s Securities and Exchange Commission is launching a commodities exchange to trade futures contracts. The regulator is putting together a framework of rules and hopes to seek approval from the government by the end of the year.

The SEC wants to expand to other west African nations including Nigeria, to create a regional exchange.
