Tocom outlines plan to fight back from its troubles in 2009


Tokyo Commodity Exchange has outlined a business plan for the new financial year, hoping to revive its flagging fortunes by upgrading its technology, introducing new contracts and attracting more traders.

The exchange said its new strategy was needed not only to stem the decline in trading volume, but to meet a new target of 150,000 contracts traded on average every day....
