Nymex may extend oil trading hours to solve price anomaly


CME Group is consulting market participants on whether to extend trading hours for oil derivatives at its New York trading market, formerly the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Under consideration is a plan to extend trading to 3.15pm New York time, from the present closing time of 2.30pm.
