UBS completes takeover of AIG’s commodity indexes


The equities business of UBS completed its acquisition of AIG’s commodity index business on May 6. Dow Jones-AIG Commodity Indexes have been renamed Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Indexes.

The business comprises a product platform of commodity index swaps and funded notes based on the indexes. There are 160 indexes in total.
