Tocom suspends market following problem with new trading platform


The Tokyo Commodity Exchange was forced to suspend trading for three hours after the bourse suffered technical difficulties with its new trading platform, a Nasdaq OMX-supplied solution which was launched only five days ago.

Tocom said it detected an issue concerning connectivity at its shared network gateway for some members at approximately 10.30am local time.
