European CDS clearing house “operationally ready”, says ICE


Intercontinental Exchange has said its proposed European credit default swap (CDS) clearing house is “operationally ready” and will be rolled out before the July deadline agreed between EU commissioner Charlie McCreevy and CDS market participants. The Atlanta-based exchange also said ICE Trust, the clearing entity, had admitted Royal Bank of Scotland as a new clearing member, building on its strong performance since its inception....
