OSE woos international prop firms and hedge funds with remote membership


The Osaka Securities Exchange has begun accepting applications for its remote transaction participant system, a move that should increase proprietary trading firms and hedge funds' usage of the exchange. It will also increase the liquidity in the OSE's flagship Nikkei products.

The scheme will allow foreign brokers with no branch in Japan to directly access the OSE cash and derivatives markets.
