Bursa Malaysia and CME plan equity swap deal within days


CME Group is in talks with Bursa Malaysia about an equity swap between the two exchanges. They also plan to develop a dollar-denominated crude palm oil contract.

The deal would echo CME’s arrangement with BM&F Bovespa, the merged Brazilian derivatives exchange, where a cross-shareholding cements cooperation on shared order routing and on contract design.
