LCH.Clearnet has said it will offer clearing services for over-the-counter (OTC) fertiliser swaps from October 16, in cooperation with the London-based broker Freight Investor Services.
This is believed to be the first clearing of OTC fertiliser swaps. LCH will offer clearing services for four swaps: Yuzhnyy, Nola Urea, Tampa DAP and Nola UAN.
