CFTC and SEC prepare report on how to harmonise approaches


The chairmen of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission have said they will release a report in about two weeks, addressing the areas where their regulatory schemes are different. They will recommend legislative and regulatory actions to address any differences.
