CME eyes order routing deal with Korea Exchange


The CME Group is exploring a mutual order routing agreement with the Korea Exchange, similar to its existing relationship with BM&F Bovespa, the exchange said on Monday November 16.

The Chicago-based group said both parties had indicated a “commitment” to a bi-directional order routing initiative, though any possible deal would be subject to regulatory approval.

CME also said it would establish a permanent telecommunications hub in Seoul as part of a five year agreement between the two bourses.
