Tocom suspends aluminium futures as demand peters out


The Tokyo Commodities Exchange will suspend trading of its Aluminium Futures when the existing back month contracts expire in October 2010, after a drastic fall in demand.

No new back month contract will be generated after October 26, 2010, though the contract itself will not be delisted from the exchange.
