CBOE’s litigation problems settled at last


The Chicago Board Options Exchange’s agreement to settle legal action by Chicago Board of Trade members was approved by the Delaware Supreme Court on December 2.

The US equity options exchange announced on November 30 that it had reached an agreement with the unknown number of CBOT members who were still claiming they were entitled to an equity stake in the CBOE.
