Ex-Lehman bankers buy controlling stake in Marex


JRJ Group, the London-based investment firm established by former Lehman Brothers executives Jeremy Isaacs and Roger Nagioff, is to buy a majority stake in Marex Group, the London-headquartered futures and commodities brokerage.

Marex will be the first significant purchase by JRJ Group. It was launched in January 2009 by Isaacs, former chief executive of Lehman Brothers in Europe and Asia, and Nagioff, who had been the bank’s head of interest rate products.
