FFastFill expands into cleared OTC sector


FFastFill, the software company that specialises in exchange-traded derivatives, has modified its Eclipse system to serve the growing market in centrally cleared over the counter derivatives.

Because the instruments it handles are less commoditised, the OTC derivative market has lagged behind the exchange-traded sector in becoming automated. The older, more manual methods carry costs and risk of error – and regulators are also keen to encourage automation.
