SGX to compete with TSE for Nikkei dividend futures market


The Singapore Exchange will list futures linked to the soon-to-be-launched Nikkei Stock Average Dividend Point Index by the third quarter of 2010. The Singaporean exchange’s commitment came just days after the Tokyo Stock Exchange said it would list equivalent contracts on July 26, pitting the two Asian bourses against each other for regional supremacy.
