Lenz leaves Eurex

Eurex has announced the departure of Thomas Lenz, the member of its executive board responsible for operations - effectively the bourse’s chief operating officer. The German bourse confirmed that Lenz had resigned for personal reasons, and his exit was unrelated to parent company Deutsche Börse's ongoing restructuring project.

Lenz, 51, has also left his positions on several of Eurex’s executive boards, with immediate effect. Jürg Spillman, another Eurex executive board member, will assume his role on an interim basis, the bourse said today (April 19).
