FT completes partial divestment of MCX SX, ready for new products


Financial Technologies, the Indian exchanges and technology group behind the Multi Commodity Exchange, said on April 15 that it had completed the reduction of its equity in the new MCX Stock Exchange through “divestment and a scheme of reduction of capital”.

The change is seen a precursor to the stock exchange being granted regulatory permission to offer equity derivatives and interest rate futures.
