Record trading day at BM&F
BM&F Bovespa continued its recent record performance yesterday (April 27), with a record 103,885 individual trades executed on its derivatives platform, beating the last record of 99,200 set on April 16.
A total of 4.76m contracts changed hands during the trades, worth a notional R$310.29bn.
Last month, the bourse enjoyed a record month across both its equity options and futures platforms. A total of 87.5m options and 71.4m futures changed hands, making it the world’s busiest options exchange.
