Liffe to open for night trading as UK election results roll in
NYSE Euronext Liffe has announced that it will open some contracts for trading early in the morning of Friday May 7, the day after Britain’s general election.
The contracts available will be Three Month Short Sterling interest rate futures; short, medium and long Gilt futures; FTSE 100 Index Futures; and the Euribor contract. They will be available for trading on Liffe Connect from 1am London time until their standard closing time.No other contracts will have special trading hours...
