Vince Cable, the Liberal Democrat shadow chancellor of the exchequer in the UK, has said the exchange-traded futures industry is a model of transparency for the effective running of financial markets.
In an interview with FOi ahead of the May 6 general election, Cable said he foresaw no need of radical reform in the listed derivatives markets.
