CFTC and SEC form joint committee to watch for risks

The two US financial markets regulators announced on May 11 that they would create a joint advisory committee on emerging regulatory issues. The joint committee between the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission was one of the 20 recommendations in the harmonisation report issued by the two agencies last year.
